When I'm thinking I start to mix english and german. What a weird thing. Do you draft letters to your friends and family in your head sometimes? Or what you're going to tell somebody when you meet them the next time? I always do. I'm phrasing stuff all the time. On my way back home I already make up what I'm going to tell Sisto. And I recently found myself doing that in english. Sometimes I have to translate it back into german because the imaginary person is a member of my family or a friend from germany. It's just so weird. Right now I wonder if I started dreaming in english, too. I'll keep an eye on that and let you know.

Second day of another canvassing job. It was cold. It was nasty. But I hit the quote. More than that. Which means I do have a job now. At least for a week. Hope it doesn't stay at 7°C...

Beautiful thing / piece of a cone I just found on the street. The sun is out. It's so nice outside. Tomorrow I'll start another canvassing job. Easy tomato sauce and such a delightful treat on olive ciabatta.. Cut tomatoes in small pieces, put them on a baking sheet, peel a couple of garlic pieces and roast that bunch in the oven until it looks and smells delicious. cut some onion and fry it in a pan until glossy and add roasted tomatoes and garlic. cook until desired texture, add salt and pepper to taste. Enjoy with pasta or on a piece of artisan bread! 

Have some pancakes, german pancakes, yes!

 Pancakes.. German "Pfannkuchen" with vegan cheese. Big ass food church salad. Meaning salad that was put together after we got a lot of produce and some other random food from the free food sunday appointment. What's in there: mache, kohlrabi, tomatoes, carrot, chestnuts (crumbled), beetroot, apple. You can't put too many different things into a salad. Though every once in a while a very simple green boston lettuce with a basic lemon and cream (vegan for sure) dressing like my mom used to make it paired with potatoes is heaven to me. And you can never eat enough pancakes. Also: I was kind of successful during the last weeks with my intention of making music more often. I recorded stuff every once in a while. Though I believe most of you won't like it here's some: Pfannkuchen. And I will play a show on april 9th. Noise reduction - equalizer - jealous heart - distortion - amp. Here's a good recipe for it though for savory pancakes you might wanna omit the sugar. I often just mix flour and soy milk until it makes a runny batter, eventually add a little bit of egg replacer powder though it works perfectly without, let it sit for a while, and bake it. So easy.

Progress of my sewing project. My room is a mess, this blanket is just too big for such a small room and  I can't even really spread it out while working on the puzzle.. Whatever. Have a look at my dilemma:

Tired. Just walked an hour back home from a show in Kenton. The set we wanted to see was 10 minutes. .. And worth walking two hours in total! (The other stuff was good, too.)

Stop blowing your nose in dead trees!

I wanted to start introducing fabric tissues instead of single use paper ones to my nose. And I'm getting more and more successful. The beginning made two handkerchiefs that I found at the barn of our friends back an germany. I just used them when I had a cold first but put them in my luggage when moving to the States. 

During the last months my stock grew collecting unwanted items out of freeboxes or finding them at the bins. There still is an emergency box of paper tissues under my bed but it's demanded rarely.

I just was looking for wooden spoons on etsy when stumbling upon some with mustache prints.
Spoons with mustache prints? What the heck? I don't understand the connection. I don't know what that is about.
Actually I hate the mustache/beard hype.
Don't get me wrong, I love beards and I think a lot of men look awesome with a beard.
But prints of beards/mustaches, mugs with beards/mustaches, fabric, bags, shirts, stickers and so on and so on with beards/mustaches are stupid as f*ck. Dumb. Neither funny nor cool. Just silly.

Needed to get that out once.
